If Iron Maiden is not on tour, would they attend their Rock Hall induction? Bruce Dickinson replies, ‘No.’

Iron Maiden won’t be at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction on Nov. 14, 2026 — and not just because they’ll be touring Australia then. When asked if he’d attend if the band weren’t on the road, singer Bruce Dickinson said simply, “No.” Bassist Steve Harris added, “I don’t do those sort of things,” and noted he didn’t even go to the red carpet for their Burning Ambition documentary.

Iron Maiden were picked for the Rock Hall’s 2026 class after two earlier nominations. The band members have never been big on the Hall or awards in general. Harris said awards aren’t why they make music and that he wasn’t losing sleep over the induction. Dickinson said he can’t muster any strong feelings about it, though he appreciates that many fans are happy for them.

So the induction is happening. But Iron Maiden will likely skip the ceremony — touring and personal choices both play a part. Fans can still celebrate the honor, and the band will be doing what they do best: playing shows.
