The Arts on the Avenue festival is back in Lansdowne for its 21st year this Sunday, May 17, from noon to 6 p.m. If it rains, the event will be rescheduled for Sunday, May 31. Over 70 regional artists will showcase their work, including paintings, ceramics, jewelry, photography, sculpture, woodworking, illustration, fiber arts, and mixed media.
Festival-goers can enjoy live demonstrations and chat with artists throughout the day. The music lineup includes Amari Rebel & the Movement, Another Michael, Soul Calibers, Benny P, Sovei, and Paul Harrold and the Nuclear Bandits.
There will also be a beer garden hosted by Conshohocken Brewing Co., food trucks, interactive art activities, and a kids zone. Local restaurants, shops, and galleries will join in the fun along North Lansdowne Avenue.
The event is free to attend, and all activities operate on a pay-as-you-go basis. For more details, check out the Arts on the Avenue festival website.
