The Pennsylvania Game Commission is kicking off free wildlife habitat driving tours on state game lands starting Sept. 20. Fans can roll through the fall scenery from their cars and check out how habitats are managed for wildlife.
Tours run on weekends and let you explore roads that cross public hunting lands. You won’t get out of the car, so bring snacks, windows-down playlists, and a camera for the views. Staff and volunteers will be on hand at trailheads to answer questions about wildlife, habitat work and why these places matter.
It’s a great way to spend a relaxed fall day if you like wide-open spaces, birds and deer — or if you just want a low-key outdoor outing between shows. No tickets, no fees. Just pick a route, drive, and enjoy the landscape.
