Wolfgang Van Halen’s Mammoth Announces October Release Date for Highly Anticipated Third Album ‘The End’

Wolfgang Van Halen’s new music is set to drop on October 24. His third solo album, titled *The End*, will be released by BMG. The album was produced by Michael “Elvis” Baskette at 5150 Studios in Los Angeles. Wolfgang took the reins on every note and vocal line across all ten tracks. He described the album as “over-the-top and shreddy, but also melodic and controlled,” adding that it felt “really special” once it was finished.

Originally, Wolfgang named his band Mammoth WVH, but he later shortened it to just Mammoth. The lead single from *The End*, called “The Spell,” has already gained a lot of attention, with its music video surpassing 4 million views. Directed by Gordy De St. Jeor, the video features Wolfgang playing all the instruments himself. The title track of the album debuted in May, with a music video directed by Robert Rodriguez, featuring cameos from Danny Trejo, Slash, Myles Kennedy, and Valerie Bertinelli.

Mammoth is currently on the Return of the Summer of ’99 tour, which started on July 9 and runs until August 30. They will kick off another tour in Las Vegas on November 1, with Myles Kennedy joining them on stage.

Wolfgang’s 2021 album, *Mammoth WVH*, reached No. 12 on the charts and topped three others. His second album, *Mammoth II*, debuted at No. 1. Wolfgang Van Halen is a GRAMMY-nominated songwriter, vocalist, and instrumentalist. He has also contributed to Van Halen’s albums and was part of Tremonti.

*The End* is available for pre-order in various formats, including special colored vinyl and signed copies, featuring artwork by Moon Patrol. You can also grab tour tickets and VIP passes online.
