The upcoming Oasis reunion shows at the Rose Bowl have filled Pasadena’s hotels to the brim. A sales associate from Langham Huntington mentioned that all their rooms were booked by June. Lisa Derderian, Pasadena’s chief communications officer, noted that the influx of fans will boost local businesses, including hotels, car rentals, and restaurants. “It’s a win-win for the Rose Bowl Stadium and the city,” she said.
Fans are traveling from far and wide for these concerts. Liam Desmond, a 49-year-old realtor from Manchester, UK, flew to New Jersey to see the band at MetLife Stadium before heading to Pasadena. “I’ve spent a fortune flying over and staying in Manhattan,” Desmond shared. “But it’s worth it since this is a once-in-a-lifetime series of concerts. I saw Oasis back home when I was just a kid.”
However, not every local spot will feel the impact. Sheryl Scott, Director of Communications and Operations at the Gamble House Conservancy, stated that the Oasis concert isn’t expected to affect their visitor numbers.
Oasis will perform hits from their classic album, Definitely Maybe, during their comeback tour at the Rose Bowl. The shows are set to start at 7 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Fans looking for ticket information can find it online. Get ready for an unforgettable weekend of music!
