Jon Bon Jovi is shaking things up for his band’s 2026 tour by using a different setlist each night. He got inspired after chatting with Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich. In a recent interview, Bon Jovi shared, “I asked Lars, ‘If you’re only playing ‘Master Of Puppets’ one night and ‘One’ another, do fans get upset if they miss a song?’ He said, ‘Nope. We have enough songs that it works.’”
This idea follows Metallica’s M72 tour, where they performed two completely different setlists on consecutive nights in many cities. Bon Jovi believes he has enough hits to do the same. He said, “[Lars] mentioned my catalog, and I thought, ‘I’m really into that idea.’ I could easily create two separate shows with hits on both nights. It’s going to be fun putting together these multi-night shows.”
Last month, Bon Jovi announced stadium shows in the UK and Ireland, along with a New York residency for summer 2026. Due to high demand, they added three more performances at Wembley Stadium.
The tour will promote Bon Jovi’s upcoming album, *Forever (Reimagined)*, set to release in October 2024. This album features collaborations with big names like Bruce Springsteen, Avril Lavigne, Robbie Williams, Jelly Roll, Lainey Wilson, Ryan Tedder, and Joe Elliott from Def Leppard. The original version of *Forever* was released in 2024 to celebrate the band’s 40th anniversary and followed the Disney+ documentary *Thank You, Goodnight: The Bon Jovi Story*.
Fans can look forward to Bon Jovi’s exciting 2026 shows and grab their tickets soon!
