Stephen Pearcy is set to release his sixth solo record later this year. The album features a mystery guitarist, but their identity remains under wraps. Pearcy wrote the track and teamed up with Matt Thorne for production. Thorne was part of Ratt back in 1981, when the band was just starting out.
The new record will also showcase several guest musicians. Fans who subscribe to Pearcy’s Patreon will get exclusive access to studio footage of these collaborations next week.
Currently, Pearcy is on The Undercover Tour, which includes special appearances by Warren DeMartini. The tour runs through August, with the possibility of adding more dates. Upcoming solo shows include Tulare, California, on May 9, Davenport, Iowa, on May 29, Lake Charles, Louisiana, on May 31, and West Salem, Wisconsin, on June 13.
Fans can find VIP packages for both Pearcy’s solo shows and those with DeMartini. These packages offer meet-and-greets, signed collectibles, and limited-edition items. A few tickets are still available for advance purchase.
Pearcy founded Ratt and was with the band from 1984 to 1991. During that time, they released eight albums, played thousands of shows, and sold over 20 million records worldwide. DeMartini has been a constant presence since the Ratt days and continues to tour with Pearcy. The two recently performed together at The Roxy in Los Angeles, where DeMartini was honored as a Sunset Strip Inductee by the Metal Hall of Fame. Pearcy received the same recognition in 2020.
Ratt’s music has appeared in films like The Wrestler and Point Break, as well as TV shows like Stranger Things and Cobra Kai. Pearcy also wrote a bestselling memoir titled “Sex, Drugs, Ratt ‘N’ Roll… My Life In Rock.
