Phil Campbell’s children, who played with him in the band the Bastard Sons, are going on tour to honor their late father. The European tour starts in July and includes shows supporting Judas Priest.
In a Facebook post, the Bastard Sons shared their excitement: “We are heading back to the stage with a mission that goes beyond the music. After our father’s passing, we are moving forward with strength and purpose, keeping the rock and roll flame he ignited alive.”
They added, “What started as a family project has grown into a powerful tribute. Fans can expect a show that is loud, honest, and true to rock ‘n’ roll, just like our dad would have wanted.”
Phil Campbell was part of Motörhead from 1984 until the band ended after frontman Lemmy Kilmister’s death in 2015. Campbell passed away in March at the age of 64.
