Happy Mondays are set to release a deluxe reissue of their classic 1990 album, *Pills ‘n’ Thrills and Bellyaches*, on August 21. This special package will come in several formats, including a five-LP box set. The box will feature a remastered version of the original album, along with the Hallelujah and Madchester Rave On EPs, live recordings, and remixes.
*Pills ‘n’ Thrills and Bellyaches* includes the band’s biggest hits, “Step On” and “Kinky Afro.” These songs played a key role in bringing the Madchester sound to a global audience, alongside other bands like The Stone Roses. After this album, Happy Mondays released one more record, *Yes Please!*, in 1992 before disbanding in 1993.
The band has reunited several times since then and continues to tour, even after the passing of bassist Paul Ryder in 2022. He was the brother of lead vocalist Shaun Ryder. Fans can look forward to this exciting reissue and celebrate the band’s legacy.
