Iron Maiden’s drummer, Nicko McBrain, has announced his upcoming autobiography titled *Hello Boys and Girls!*, set to be released on November 10 in the U.S. McBrain expressed his excitement about working with the HarperNonFiction team, sharing that the book will be filled with fun stories, anecdotes, and his experiences with some of the greatest musicians from the 70s, 80s, and beyond.
He said, “I am blessed to be able to finally share my path to where I am today, in my own words, with the world.” McBrain joined Iron Maiden in 1982, taking over from drummer Clive Burr, and made his first recording with the band on the 1983 album *Piece of Mind*. He has been with the band ever since, although he retired from touring in 2024 due to health issues.
In addition to his book release, McBrain will be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame with Iron Maiden as part of the 2026 class. The induction ceremony is scheduled for November 14 in Los Angeles. Fans can also check out the band’s new documentary, *Burning Ambition*, which is currently in theaters.
