New Order has revealed a new compilation album called The Best & the Rest of New Order, set to release on July 17. This collection brings together their 1994 album The Best of New Order, featuring hits like “Blue Monday” and “Bizarre Love Triangle,” along with the 1995 remix album The Rest of New Order. The Best & the Rest of New Order will have remastered audio and will be available in a four-CD deluxe set that includes bonus unreleased mixes, as well as a standard two-CD version. Fans can also look forward to standalone vinyl editions of both albums.
In exciting news for fans, New Order will be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame on November 14, 2026, alongside their former band Joy Division. Former bassist Peter Hook, who left the band in 2007, plans to attend the ceremony, but the rest of the band has not yet confirmed if they will join him.
