Alex Van Halen and David Lee Roth will reunite — at least for a talk — at TEDxFargo in Fargo, North Dakota.
Alex Van Halen was already set to appear in a virtual conversation with artist Alex Vargas on Thursday. Now original Van Halen singer David Lee Roth has been added to the lineup. An Instagram post calls it “Three icons. One stage. One conversation you won’t want to miss.”
Vargas said the talk will be remote but live, with all three of them in the same room. If you can’t attend TEDxFargo, don’t worry: the conversation will be posted to YouTube in a few weeks for everyone to watch.
Vargas painted a 17-foot mural of Eddie Van Halen on the Guitar Center in Hollywood. Roth’s addition comes days after he canceled all but one of his remaining summer tour dates. He’s still scheduled to play the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in South Dakota on Aug. 7.
