The early renewal arrives ahead of the show’s 10-episode second season premiere on Sept. 18.
Paramount+ has officially renewed its action-crime series MobLand for a third season ahead of the premiere of season 2 on Sept. 18. Created and co-written by Ronan Bennett, co-written by Jez Butterworth, and executive produced by David C. Glasser, the drama stars Tom Hardy, Pierce Brosnan, and Helen Mirren as key figures caught in a war between two rival mob empires.
In season 2, Hardy stars as Harry Da Souza, a “fixer” attempting to hold together North London’s largest criminal empire, the Harrigans, amid an impending civil war. The 10-episode second season will stream new episodes on Fridays through its finale on Nov. 20. Additional cast members for season 2 include Paddy Considine, Joanne Froggatt, Lara Pulver, Anson Boon, Mandeep Dhillon, Jasmine Jobson, Teddie Allen, Emmett J. Scanlan, Johnny Flynn, Ophelia Lovibond, Janet McTeer, and Toby Jones.
