Geezer Butler, Geoff Tate, George Lynch, and Tommy Aldridge Set for Rock ‘N’ Roll Fantasy Camp’s Metalmania IV

Metalmania IV is coming to Los Angeles. Rock ‘N’ Roll Fantasy Camp will host the four-day event on March 11-14, 2027, with Geezer Butler of Black Sabbath, Geoff Tate, George Lynch, and Tommy Aldridge on the lineup.

Tate is Queensrÿche’s former frontman. Lynch played guitar in Dokken and now plays in Lynch Mob. Aldridge kept the beat for Ozzy Osbourne’s band and for Whitesnake.

Fans of any skill level can join. The first 25 people to sign up get to arrive early on day one, hang out with the artists, and attend a luncheon, Bravewords reported.

The camp turns 30 this year. Campers rehearse, record, and perform, and they learn right alongside well-known artists. Past guests have been business executives, entrepreneurs, hobbyists, and working musicians.

Seattle Seahawks coach John Benton has attended, as has a former lieutenant governor of Kentucky. So have college professors, doctors, lawyers, and engineers. Ed Oates, co-founder of Oracle, joined in too, as per Bravewords.

Women make up more than 40% of Rock Camp participants. The camps also run “Women’s Only” and “Songwriting” sessions.

Artists have praised the camp. The late Jeff Beck called it “the best way to give back.” Roger Daltrey says in the documentary Rock Camp that the experience took him back to his early days. Gene Simmons of KISS has said he wishes the camp had been around when he was young.

The camp has popped up on The Simpsons, Billions, Saturday Night Live, The Today Show, and Pawn Stars. Anyone can watch the documentary Rock Camp for free on YouTube and major streaming platforms. A Rock Camp podcast keeps going as well.

Fishof said the goal hasn’t changed. “For 30 years, Rock Camp has been about one thing – changing lives through music,” he said.
