The 2021 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony is coming up fast as a new crop of iconic musicians prepare to be admitted to the celebrated institution. The event will take place in-person at Cleveland, Ohio’s Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse on October 30 at 8 p.m. ET.
For those who can’t make it, the ceremony will air at a later date on HBO and will be made available for streaming on HBO Max. Sirius XM’s Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Radio channel 310 and Volume channel 106 will also be providing a radio simulcast of the inductions.
2021 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony will feature appearances and performances from Taylor Swift, who will induct singer and songwriter Carole King in addition to performing with the artist alongside Jennifer Hudson, as well as Paul McCartney who will induct Foo Fighters and Drew Barrymore who will induct The Go-Gos.
Jay-Z, Todd Rundgren, Kraftwerk, Charley Patton, Gil Scott-Heron, LL Cool J, Billy Preston, and Randy Rhoads will also be inducted at this year’s ceremony. Additional appearances will be made by Lionel Richie, Mickey Guyton, H.E.R., Bryan Adams, Christina Aguilera, and more.
In addition to the main ceremony, the days leading up to the event are packed with celebrations. A red carpet livestream hosted by Bevy Smith will stream on October 30 at 5 p.m. ET and on October 28 Cleveland’s Rock Hall will hold Rock Hall Nights: 2021 Inductions where attendees can compete in an inductee costume contest while an in-house DJ runs through a varied playlist of hits from this year’s inductees.
On October 29, a stream will be available for an exclusive interview and book signing with the Go-Gos. Later that afternoon, a separate stream will launch for viewers to witness the 2021 inductees signing their names on the historic signature dedication wall.
