​American Music Awards 2026: Winners Announced  

The 2026 American Music Awards were held on May 25 in Las Vegas, and the winners have been announced. BTS took home the coveted Artist of the Year award. KATSEYE was named New Artist of the Year, while Sabrina Carpenter won Album of the Year for “Man’s Best Friend.”

The Song of the Year award went to HUNTR/X: EJAE, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami for their hit “Golden.” In the Collaboration category, PinkPantheress and Zara Larsson won for “Stateside.” Tyla’s “CHANEL” was recognized as the Social Song of the Year, and KATSEYE’s “Gnarly” won Best Music Video.

Shakira’s “Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran” World Tour was awarded Tour of the Year, with Benson Boone’s American Heart World Tour winning Breakout Tour. Zara Larsson’s “Midnight Sun” was named Breakthrough Album of the Year. The Best Throwback Song award went to the Black Eyed Peas for “Rock That Body.”

Bruno Mars and SZA were recognized as Best Male and Female R&B Artists, respectively, while Cardi B won Best Female Hip-Hop Artist and Best Hip-Hop Song for “ErrTime.”

In the country categories, Morgan Wallen and Ella Langley took home Best Male and Female Country Artist awards. Zac Brown Band was named Best Country Duo or Group, and Ella Langley also won Best Country Song for “Choosin’ Texas.”

For K-pop, BTS was named Best Male Artist, and TWICE won Best Female Artist. David Guetta was recognized as Best Dance/Electronic Artist.

Overall, it was a night filled with exciting performances and well-deserved awards for some of the biggest names in music today!
