The in-game event features band-themed content through September 21 ahead of the group’s October tour dates.
Avenged Sevenfold has partnered with World of Tanks: Modern Armor for the video game’s Metal Fest event, which runs from Sept. 1 through Sept. 21. The three-week collaboration brings Avenged Sevenfold-themed cosmetics, tanks, and music into the game. The group joins British heavy metal band Iron Maiden in this year’s Metal Fest celebration, following Iron Maiden’s in-game expansion launch on July 28.
Along with the gaming partnership, the California group has scheduled four tour dates in Australia and New Zealand for October, featuring support from Thornhill and Coheed and Cambria. The concerts will take place at Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena on Oct. 16, the Brisbane Entertainment Centre on Oct. 18, Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on Oct. 20, and Auckland’s Spark Arena on Oct. 23.
