Greta Van Fleet has fans buzzing about their future after releasing a mysterious video. The 50-second clip, titled “Thanks for the Wild Ride,” was uploaded to YouTube on Monday. It features nostalgic footage from the band’s journey since their rise to fame. The video description reads, “Thanks for the wild ride. Love, Josh, Jake, Sam & Daniel,” referring to band members Josh Kiszka, Jake Kiszka, Sam Kiszka, and drummer Daniel Wagner.
The reflective tone of the video has led many to speculate that the band might be calling it quits. However, it could also be a clever way to hint at new music from Greta Van Fleet. The band first gained attention in 2017 with hits like “Highway Tune” and “Safari Song” from their EP, From the Fires, which won a Grammy for Best Rock Album. Since then, they have released three albums: Anthem of the Peaceful Army in 2018, The Battle at Garden’s Gate in 2021, and Starcatcher in 2023.
In addition, Jake Kiszka has started a new band called Mirador, which released its debut album in 2025. Fans are eager to see what comes next for Greta Van Fleet.
