Greta Van Fleet has announced their new single, “Play Your Games,” which will be released on May 29. Fans can presave the track now and check out a one-minute preview on the band’s Facebook page. This single is the first new music from the band since their 2023 album, Starcatcher.
Recently, there was some concern among fans when the band posted a video titled “Thanks for the Wild Ride,” leading to speculation about a breakup. However, they quickly clarified that they were back in the studio working on new material.
In addition to the single release, Greta Van Fleet will perform an intimate concert at New York City’s Bowery Ballroom on May 27. Tickets will be available only at the Bowery Ballroom box office starting at 9 a.m. ET on May 26.
On a sad note, Gretna Van Fleet, the band’s namesake from Frankenmuth, Michigan, has passed away at the age of 95.
