Nick Valensi, the guitarist for The Strokes, is taking a temporary break from touring. The band shared the news on their Instagram Story, stating they look forward to his return. In the meantime, guitarist Steve Schiltz will fill in for Valensi. Schiltz has played with The Strokes earlier this year and joined them for a performance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, where they performed “Falling Out of Love,” a song from their upcoming album, Reality Awaits, set to release on June 26. The Strokes will continue their tour in June, starting with a performance at Bonnaroo, followed by a series of headlining shows across the U.S.
