Olivia Rodrigo surprised fans at the final No Doubt show at Sphere Las Vegas on June 13. Gwen Stefani, the lead singer of No Doubt, has been inviting fans onstage for hugs during their residency. At this show, she noticed a pink sign in the crowd that read, “I’m just a girl who wants the last hug at the last Sphere show.” The sign was held by Olivia.
Gwen playfully acted surprised and called out, “Is that Olivia Rodrigo?” Olivia ran onstage wearing a baseball cap, a yellow shirt, blue shorts, and boots. Gwen shouted, “Give it up for Olivia Rodrigo! She has a new record that just came out!” referring to Olivia’s new album, *you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love*, which was released just days earlier.
The two women, who grew up about an hour apart in California, shared a heartfelt moment. Olivia cheered, “No Doubt, best band in the world! I love you so much!” They embraced again, and Gwen said, “I love you. Thank you for coming to our concert!
