Modest Mouse has just dropped a new song titled “Third Side of the Moon.” This track is part of their upcoming album, An Eraser and a Maze, which is set to release on June 5. Fans of the band will recognize the familiar language from their 2000 album, The Moon & Antarctica, especially the opening track “3rd Planet.”
An Eraser and a Maze follows their 2021 album, The Golden Casket, and also features previously released songs like “Look How Far…” and “Picking Dragons’ Pockets.”
In addition to the new music, Modest Mouse is kicking off a U.S. tour on Tuesday in Spokane, Washington. They have live shows lined up through October, so there are plenty of chances to catch them on stage.
