Def Leppard will receive the 2,825th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Tuesday, October 9, at 11:30 am PT. The ceremony will take place at 1750 N. Vine Street, right in front of the iconic Capitol Records building. The band will be honored in the Recording category. They will be joined by emcee Bob Buchmann from Sirius XM, rock legend Jon Bon Jovi, and Bruce Resnikoff, the President and CEO of UMe.
The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce has been hosting these star ceremonies for decades, making the Walk of Fame a must-visit landmark since 1960. This honor comes as Def Leppard gears up for an exciting period. Last month, they announced a summer 2026 tour in the UK and Europe, with support from Extreme. The tour kicks off on June 13 in Rättvik, Sweden, and includes stops in Helsinki, Zurich, and Dortmund. They’ll then head back to the UK for shows in Glasgow, Sheffield, London, Birmingham, and Manchester. The tour wraps up with performances at Germany’s Wacken Open Air festival on July 30 and a headlining show in Dubai on August 2.
Before the summer tour, Def Leppard will have a winter residency at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, playing 12 shows in February. They’ll also headline Hard Rock Live in Gary, Indiana, on October 11. Plus, fans can look forward to the release of “Diamond Star Heroes Live From Sheffield” on November 21. This concert, recorded in their hometown during “The World Tour” with Mötley Crüe, will be available on Blu-ray+2CD, 2CD, and 2LP.
