Foo Fighters have released the video for their new song “Spit Shine,” from the album *Your Favorite Toy*. The video features Dave Grohl and the band performing in front of a mural of the late Motörhead frontman Lemmy Kilmister. Things take a wild turn when zombies invade the show. The press release calls it a “nightmare come true” for fans of rock and gore, and the video does not hold back on the graphic content, showing some intense scenes of disembowelment that cover the band in blood.
You can check out the “Spit Shine” video on YouTube, but maybe wait until after your meal to watch it.
In addition to the video release, Foo Fighters will perform an intimate show at Irving Plaza in New York City on Thursday night. They will follow that with another performance at the Starland Ballroom in Sayreville, New Jersey, on Saturday. The band is also set to headline the Welcome to Rockville and BottleRock Napa festivals in May, before kicking off a full North American stadium tour in August.
