Foo Fighters recently appeared on the popular online show Track Star, hosted by Jack Coyne. In this episode, Coyne challenged the band to identify various songs. Frontman Dave Grohl, guitarist Chris Shiflett, and bassist Nate Mendel quickly recognized tracks from artists like The Clash, Van Halen, Minor Threat, and NOFX. However, they struggled with a song from the Finnish band Hanoi Rocks. Grohl admitted, “I don’t know, I don’t like it, though,” as he took off his headphones.
In other news, the Foo Fighters will perform on CBS’ The Late Show with Stephen Colbert this Monday, where Grohl will also sit down for an interview. Their new album, Your Favorite Toy, is out now. The band is set to headline two festivals in May: Welcome to Rockville and BottleRock Napa. After that, they will kick off a full North American stadium tour in August.
