Twenty One Pilots took the stage at the 2026 American Music Awards on May 25 in Las Vegas. The duo, Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun, performed “Drag Path,” marking its TV debut. The song recently reached #1 on the Billboard Alternative Airplay chart. Originally part of the Digital Remains deluxe edition of their 2025 album, Breach, “Drag Path” was released as a single in February due to its popularity.
In addition to their performance, Twenty One Pilots won the award for best rock/alternative artist. Sombr also had a big night, winning best rock/alternative song for “back to friends” and best rock/alternative album for I Barely Know Her. He performed his track “Homewrecker” during the show, introduced by Linda Perry from 4 Non Blondes.
