Rhino Records will re-release the 2012 album on physical formats on October 23.
Van Halen’s final studio album, A Different Kind Of Truth, is returning to print on October 23 through Rhino Records. The release will be available on CD and as a two-LP set pressed on 180-gram vinyl. Originally released on February 7, 2012, the album marked David Lee Roth’s return to an original Van Halen studio record for the first time since 1984’s 1984, performing alongside Eddie Van Halen, Alex Van Halen, and Wolfgang Van Halen. The album debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and features several songs built around unfinished demos dating back to the band’s formative years.
