DragonForce has announced that Alissa White-Gluz, known for her work with Arch Enemy and The Agonist, is their new vocalist. Guitarist Herman Li expressed excitement about her joining the band, saying, “Alissa joining the band is an expansion of everything we’ve done up to this point. She makes all aspects of our music better, and she sounds incredible live!”
White-Gluz shared her enthusiasm, stating, “I am beyond excited to be bringing such iconic music to life with these amazingly skilled musicians. It feels great to showcase all the colors of my voice in these technically challenging and energizing songs.”
She will make her live debut with DragonForce this Saturday at the Welcome to Rockville festival. This performance will kick off the band’s 20th anniversary celebration of their album Inhuman Rampage, which features their hit single “Through the Fire and Flames.” The lineup will also include Marc Hudson, who has been with the band since 2011.
