Michael “Mike D” Diamond of the Beastie Boys has announced some solo concerts. He will perform in Los Angeles on May 7 and May 10, and in New York City on May 22 and 23. Tickets are available now.
In an Instagram post, Mike shared his excitement, saying, “It’s happening. Shows. New music. Switch Up. Let’s Go.” This announcement follows his surprise appearance at a concert in April with his sons’ band, Very Nice Person.
The Beastie Boys disbanded in 2012 after the passing of Adam “MCA” Yauch. In 2019, Mike and Adam “Ad-Rock” Horovitz held live events to promote their book, the Beastie Boys Book. Fans can look forward to Mike D’s upcoming shows!
