In 1991, Paula Abdul released her second album, *Spellbound*, which topped the Billboard 200 and featured two No. 1 hits. That same year, De La Soul launched their second album, *De La Soul Is Dead*, reaching No. 7 on the U.K. charts and No. 26 in the U.S.

Fast forward to 2006, when Rihanna scored her first No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 with her hit single, solidifying her place in pop and R&B. The following year, Linkin Park released *Minutes to Midnight*, debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and selling over 620,000 copies in its first week.
