Blaze Bayley Takes Time Developing Follow-Up to Solo Album ‘Circle Of Stone’

The former Iron Maiden singer is letting new material come naturally ahead of his 2026 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction.

Former Iron Maiden vocalist Blaze Bayley revealed in an interview with Altars Of Metal that he is taking his time developing his next solo album, the follow-up to 2024’s Circle Of Stone. Bayley explained that he and his band are letting ideas arrive naturally rather than forcing a specific direction or setting strict deadlines. Though the writing process is still in its early stages with limited material completed so far, the singer noted that he and his team are preparing for creative sessions to shape the project.

In addition to his solo work, Bayley is preparing to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as part of Iron Maiden’s Class of 2026. Bayley fronted the band for five years, appearing on the studio albums The X Factor (1995) and Virtual XI (1998). He will be inducted alongside the group’s current lineup and fellow former members Paul Di’Anno, Dennis Stratton, Nicko McBrain, and Clive Burr.
